Synopsis:
Brought on by the onset of menstruation, a young girl, Abigail, experiences
various stages of her life through a series of flash forwards. Through this
journey she sees herself losing her virginity, giving birth and finally
as an elderly woman. Although fearful and confused at first, a sense, of
tranquility fills her when she realizes the elderly woman is also herself.
She recognizes that her bloodshed is neither the end of her childhood or
her life, just another stage within it. She awakens from her journey with
a sense of understanding, acceptance and comfort.
