Using these elements, Cinebugfilms creates fantastical worlds through film and video, while overlapping experimental, narrative, documentary and animation styles. Cinebugfilms provides the viewer with visuals and sound and asks each to make their own connections.

Cinebugfilms believes that everyone’s interpretations of images and sounds are unique—what is created on screen is not necessarily the one the viewer sees—but as long as there is a connection with the elements presented, the piece has accomplished what it has set out to do.

Cinebugfilms is concerned with the funding and distribution of short independent films (especially those created in the Midwest). While continuing to build its own in-house capabilities, it aims to grow into a more prominent resource for assisting short-film productions in finding financial support and distribution.
